Straight answers
Residential and commercial. Soft wash, gutters, glass, lights, and how to book again — answered the way we actually work. Each question has a photo so you can see what we mean.
- What is the mission?
- Let excellent customer service and the finished job speak for themselves. Make it easy to schedule an appointment again — worry-free. Become the most reliable name in the Triangle pressure-washing community. Restore and enhance the house, and give people service they can actually rely on.
- What do you actually clean?
- Professional exterior work: pressure washing, soft washing, gutter cleaning, window cleaning, concrete driveways and walkways, wood fence and deck, commercial exteriors — and Christmas lights in season. We remove dirt, mold, and buildup so the property stays protected and looks cared for.
- Why soft wash the siding instead of blasting it?
- High pressure can crack or strip siding, force water behind walls, and still leave mold and algae at the root so the green comes back. Soft wash uses gentle flow plus sodium hypochlorite. The chemical does the work. Plants and grass get sprayed before, during, and after. That is the safe method for roofs, siding, and painted surfaces.
- How do I know the driveway needs pressure washing?
- Five tells from the first-site driveway post: stubborn oil and tire film, moss or algae (especially in shade), a faded gray slab, slick spots, and dirt packed in the cracks. Those are the jobs we reserve high pressure for — driveways, sidewalks, patios, concrete, and brick.
- How often should gutters be cleaned?
- Most Triangle homes: twice a year — spring after pollen and winter debris, then after fall leaf-drop. Pine lots that shed needles year-round: every 3–4 months. Clogged troughs overflow at the fascia, pool at the foundation, and start erosion, basement leaks, and ice dams.
- Do you do interior windows? Is it streak-free?
- Yes — same published rates: $10 a window and $5 a pane. Interior needs access inside the house. Exterior is streak-free on the water-fed pass (purified water, soft brush from the ground, glass up to 50 feet). Window tracks are not in that price. We can add them; that part is quoted on site.
- Do you hang Christmas lights?
- Yes. Hang, take-down, or both on the same elevations we wash. No published dollar board — we quote after we see the roofline. Book Christmas Lights or call (919) 884-8372.
- Can I give a cleaning as a gift?
- Give the gift of a Southern Reset. Call or email and we will set the job up as a gift — no card form on this site.
- What are the real hours?
- Monday–Saturday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM. We do not take Sunday or after-6 visits.
- Can I book a day on the website?
- Open Book. Walk the SSS steps: service, a day plus a start, then your details. That is not a confirmed appointment until SSS assigns the visit. You then get the assigned day. Pay at the job.
- How do I pay?
- Pay at the job. Cash, check, and Zelle are the published job price. Square tap on the iPhone in the driveway includes the processor fee (2.6% + $0.15). This site does not take payment. Zelle is in person at the job only. We do not take Apple Cash P2P.
- How do I email you?
- Write marcus@southernsurfacesolutionsnc.com or use the form on the Contact page. That is the Hostinger inbox Marcus already uses. Booking confirmations come from the same address.
