How we do it
Never pressure wash a shingle roof. High pressure blasts off the granules that protect your shingles and can shorten the life of the roof. We soft wash roofs instead: a cleaning solution kills the algae, moss and lichen, and a gentle rinse carries it away.
We wet your plants before, during and after, and we clear pine straw off the roof and out of the gutters on the same visit if you need it.
A roof cleaning pairs well with a house wash and gutter cleaning, so the whole outside of the house is done at once.

What are the black streaks on my roof?
They're usually a type of algae that feeds on shingles. It spreads over time and is common on shaded roofs in North Carolina.
Will roof cleaning damage my shingles?
Not with a soft wash. We use low pressure and a cleaning solution, never a pressure washer, so the granules stay on your shingles.
